Our new home at Heathrow Terminal 1 opened July 4^th. And there's much to celebrate. We can now offer you a better service through every step of your flying experience.

Step 1: Check in.
Check-in is now more relaxing. We have bright and spacious new counters for both Economy and Premium customers at our dedicated Zone R check-in. (Have a look at the map here).
We're in a much quieter terminal - and it will be even more so in the near future. By 2009, there'll be 8 million fewer passengers per year in Terminal 1 - that's a third fewer than now.

Step 2: Security.
We have direct access to immigration security screening for all departing Air New Zealand customers. So the process is quicker and hassle free.

Step 3: Enjoy.
After check-in there's lots of excellent shopping at duty free prices. For Business Premier customers there's also the newly opened 'urban garden' Star Alliance Departures Lounge, with complimentary New Zealand food and drinks.
